This one is a real treat for long time Bon Jovi fans. There have always been shortened versions of the FM broadcast available in various forms. Not too long ago an excellent audience recording was uploaded here by Rock_forever. I was contacted by Rokuli (Tomi) on a different board who told me that he had excellent SBD versions of most of the broadcast and would I be willing to take all the sources and put a complete recording together that utilized all of the FM/SBD recordings and patch the rest with the audience. I was certainly happy to try; what follows here is the result of my efforts. See my detailed notes below the setlist.
I actually did the work about a year ago but then life interfered in the form of heart surgery for me. By mid-year I was recovered and in good shape when my Mom got very ill and died. It has been quite a year.
It is time however, to get this out there and what better time than our Holidays. Whatever you celebrate, enjoy this effort from a long-time fan.
The first 6 songs are from a source provided to me that is uncirculated. Rokuli (Tomi) very kindly sent me two of his sources for this show. The first source provided the first 6 songs and the second source patched Living in Sin. The third source is the most common (Ahoy Rotterdam) and is still on the tracker here: http://www.XXXXXXXXXX.org/torrents-XXXXXXX.php?id=XXXXXX. It provided Livin' in Sin, Wanted and Bad Medicine. The audience recording (source 4) was here on dime but is no longer on the tracker. It was provided by Rock_forever who is also a member here on dime. It patched Blood on Blood and contributed Never Say Goodbye and Get ready. It is such a high quality source that it fits in with the FM/SBD sources quite nicely.
I did a whole lot of iterations on patching and trying to get the disparate sources to sound as much alike as I could. Certainly you can hear the difference when the source switches from FM/SBD to Audience. None of the transitions sound too jarring to my ears even though I know where each and every one is :)
This was a big project to put together and I am happy to share it with all you fans for the Holiday Season.
